Well, it's always been Bono's impassioned "Be thankful it's them and not you" wailing that's put me off-- it manages to be clueless and sanctimonious at the same time (the musical equivalent of that great line from Repo Man: "Let's do something rebellious! Let's...let's...let's get sushi-- and not pay!" But you can't go wrong seeing all those mullets again. Man, was it a rule in British rock in the 80s or something?
